👜 This is a vintage bag, so it will not smell brand new. I do not find the smell smoky, unpleasant, or overwhelming. I am not the original owner, but my home is pet free and smoke free. 
👜 Preowned, but overall good condition. Epi leather is not pristine, there are a few wrinkles and small spots (worst spot is circled). The epi leather is very thick and durable - everything is a structurally sound. Some rubbing bottom at corners from normal use. Interior is beautiful red and clean - no stickiness.
